Groundcare machinery specialists Kubota UK has appointed Adrian Mann as Product Manager to its construction division.
Mr Mann brings with him 30 years' experience in the construction industry. He started his career in the construction sector at Marton Dump Trucks, refurbishing and reconditioning quarrying equipment.
He then spent 17 years at Terex where he became a product specialist in 2010, managing and delivering the brand's product sales, producing training material, attending trade shows, evaluating prototypes and demonstrating products.
He said: 'Speaking to my colleagues at Kubota about the future of the brand and how they aim to progress as a company has given me a great feeling about taking on this new role.
'The way things are moving forward for Kubota is hugely positive and the company's long-term plan is both really encouraging and exciting.
'Kubota is an established name that is very well-known throughout the industry for its performance, reliability and service support, so this is a great opportunity for me to be able to work with a company that consistently produces pieces of machinery to such a high level of quality'
Adrian's responsibilities will involve pricing and evaluating each product's position within Kubota's construction portfolio, including new products entering the market, creating and maintaining product information documents and liaising with the marketing department to manage outward communications.
He will also be attending trade shows and sales meetings, ensuring Kubota's dealer managers and dealers have everything needed to maximise the promotion of Kubota construction machinery throughout the UK.
He added: 'One of the biggest challenges to my new position will be familiarising myself with Kubota's extensive range of products, having worked with another brand's machines for such a long time. This role has certainly taken me out of my comfort zone and ensuring my knowledge is at the required level will be a tough test, but it is one that I'm really excited to get stuck into'
