Brigade Electronics Group has appointed Rachel Hutson as group IT and communications director to support the company's rapid growth. She is the first female director of Brigade.
She is also the company's first IT director which, the company says, shows its commitment to digital expertise both internally and in the development of future products.
Philip Hanson-Abbott, Brigade Group managing director, said: 'In this digital environment, and also because of her proven ability to see the bigger picture and take a strategic approach, I ' with the full support of the other directors ' considered it appropriate to invite Rachel to join the Board as group IT & communications director. I am delighted that she has accepted'
Brigade's portfolio has grown considerably over the past 42 years since the introduction of the reversing alarm in 1976 to include 360° camera monitoring systems and remote access digital recording systems with managed services.
