John Cargill has joined Hyva UK as its new regional manager for Scotland and Ireland.
Mr Cargill, 53, who lives in Scotstoun, Glasgow, is married with two children and joins Hyva at a time when the company's sales have never been higher.
He has knowledge and experience in selling truck-related bulk handling equipment and extensive contacts in the Scottish road transport industry. Having previously worked in senior positions for companies such as Moffett, Outreach, Carrylift and Alltruck Crane Repairs, he will play a key role in the introduction of Hyva's new range of cranes now coming into the UK.
And he will also be developing the sales of Hyva skiploaders, hookloaders and tipping cylinders.
Before the end of the year, Mr Cargill will be introduced to many of Hyva's key customers by retiring regional manager Gordon Jackson. And both will be at the Transport News Breakfast Rewards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 4th November.
