Scania has launched a used vehicle app which aims to simplify pre-owned vehicle sourcing.
The move follows the recent launch of Scania Direct, which provides operators with a single point of contact to the entire UK Scania dealer used vehicle stock.
Scania Used Vehicle is designed and built by Scania and is available from Apple's App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
Used Vehicles sales director Tony Tomsett said: 'The app is linked to Scania Direct, which means our full range of stock nationwide can be accessed via the user's mobile device.
'Once a suitable vehicle has been located, an in-built contact system puts customers directly in touch with their local sales representative to progress the enquiry'
The app includes an advanced set of search filters to help customers locate the exact vehicle type they are looking for. The search results display a detailed specification of each vehicle with a full screen image. Searches can be saved and, should the customer require further details, pre-populated information requests can be emailed to Scania Direct.
