Southern Municipal Exhibition returns on June 21

Published:  14 June, 2018

The Southern Municipal Exhibition 2018 takes place on Thursday 21 June at the East Malling Research Centre, Kent.

The fourth annual event features an indoor and outdoor exhibition and a seminar programme with Chris Murphy, deputy chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM), providing a key note address.

The seminars cover a range of topics including weighing, fleet management and the evolution of municipal waste services.

The first Southern Municipal Exhibition took place in 2014 and is the brainchild of Kevin Murton, EPIC Media Group and Julian Glasspole of Vehicle Weighing Solutions Ltd (VWS), who wanted to run a low-cost event for local authorities and private companies involved in the municipal vehicle sector.

It is free to attend and includes a hot lunch.
