FleetCheck has been chosen to provide the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) members with a fleet management software system, FORS FMS.

The system is designed for members seeking to demonstrate compliance with Bronze, Silver and Gold requirements as set-out in the FORS Standard. Software includes an online checklist which allows members quick and easy access to the specific fleet data required for accreditation.

The move signals FleetCheck's appointment as a FORS Affinity Partner, allowing the company to provide a FORS-branded product which assists members with legal compliance and contractual requirements.

Based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, FleetCheck is one of the UK's leading fleet software and management specialists. Established in 2006, it now has a customer base of more than 500 businesses totalling 50,000 vehicles using its suite of fleet software solutions.

FORS FMS has a data platform providing online document storage, an information portal and a reporting suite. A traffic-light system alerts users to primary calendar events such as MOTs, service intervals, driver training and licence checking. O Licence criteria is also managed, with FORS FMS providing additional tools.

It also comes with an app for mobile devices and an electronic version of the manual vehicle inspection process, so that drivers can carry out routine vehicles inspections.

Paul Wilkes, FORS business services manager, said: 'FORS FMS gives our members the ability to collect and integrate essential data to gain and retain FORS accreditation ' all through accessibility'

Peter Golding, FleetCheck's managing director, said: 'We're thrilled to have been appointed by FORS to develop its FORS FMS platform. Online vehicle and driver data management leads to safer, compliant and more efficient fleets and we're delighted to be supporting FORS members with their accreditation process, and, as a result, helping to boost productivity across the transport sector'
