Murphy Plant has bought 45 X-ECO LED lighting towers from Trime UK to renew and upgrade its hire fleet of lighting machinery.

Murphy Plant chose the Trime X-ECO LED sets principally because of their overall build quality and economical operation. Trime has calculated that the X-ECO LED uses approximately £336.00 less in fuel each month than many traditionally illuminated lighting sets.

Murphy Plant’s director Mike Carpenter said: ‘Communication throughout the process has been excellent and Trime has responded promptly and clearly to all of our questions and requests throughout the procurement trials, case studies, commercials and internal marketing documentation.

‘They are well versed in trading with large organisations like Murphy and they make buying new equipment simple and efficient while providing short lead times.’

The units were delivered to Murphy Plant dressed in the iconic Murphy green livery, ready to be sent to sites throughout the country.

Murphy Plant offers everything from small electrical drills to a 135 tonne crawler-crane, or even specialist equipment within rail, pipelines, tunnelling, marine or ground engineering sectors.

The Trime Group collectively has over 50 years’ experience in the development and marketing of environmentally sustainable lighting sets for the construction and rental markets.
