LCV 2013 – the best is yet to come

With visitor registration now open we have begun our countdown to the sixth annual Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) Event. The event has come a long way since the first one day ‘Show and Tell' event in 2008. We hope you will agree that LCV has now established its unique positioning for the Low Carbon Vehicle community, combining a technology show with broad B2B focus, along with a Ride & Drive in a test track environment, delegations of international visitors and an extensive seminar programme.

Our aim has always been to establish an event that benefits the LCV community and this has only been possible by listening carefully to exhibitor and visitor feedback. Each year the LCV delivery team and the LCV Steering Group seeks to design the next event by building on features positively received, whilst also making changes where feedback has indicated improvements are needed.

Following LCV2012, we received more than 100 feedback forms covering all aspects of customer experience; from how visitors heard about LCV, through to the visitor and exhibitor experience at the event, including the value-added benefits of business and networking meetings held at LCV and the quality of catering.

Taking all feedback into account, we have redesigned the hall layout for LCV2013 to focus the exhibition halls around the central seminar area. This layout will see 3 halls rather than 1, but we believe the close location between halls will ensure concentrated footfall rather than spread out, thereby enhancing networking for exhibitors and visitors alike.

As we gear up for LCV2013, we are constantly looking for ways to better the customer experience and we have a few exciting developments in the pipeline. For now, we hope that you will join our journey over the next few months as we do our best to ensure LCV2013 will be the best LCV event yet!
