Reform Werke, manufacturer of the Metrac, Mounty and Muli ground care machinery ranges, has acquired German company Kiefer.

With 100 employees and annual turnover of €14 million, Kiefer makes compact vehicles for the municipal and also the cemetery sectors where the requirement is for small vehicle dimensions, economy and flexibility.

The narrow tracked Bokimobil is used year-round by municipal authorities for tasks including greenery and landscaping maintenance and transport.

Reform managing director Clemens Malina- Altzinger said: 'The various Kiefer models, which have both mechanical and hydrostatic drives, fit perfectly into our existing ranges and both companies share common corporate values.'

Max Kiefer will continue as managing director of Kiefer.
