Alf Kitching chooses Bell Equipment ADT

Civil engineering excavation company Alf Kitching has bought a Bell Equipment articulated dump truck (ADT) to help meet the demands of an increasing workload.
The B30E from Bell Equipment will support quarry based earth-moving projects, expanding the company's existing fleet.
This is the second B30E the company has bought and managing director Paul Kitching explained why: ‘We had a very good experience with the first B30E truck, including extremely positive operator feedback. Also, to avoid operational complications, it was our preference not to bring in another truck brand and as we already knew the Bell machine could compete with any competitor vehicles.'
Kitching also said value for money and impressive fuel consumption were high priorities when choosing another ADT and the B30E offered excellent fuel economy. He was also keen on the addition of the Fleetm@tic desktop management system, with its built-in weighing function, designed to provide up-to date operational data to help maximise efficiency.
‘Monitoring truck performance can help better a fleet's function,' said Kitching.
‘Now we're able to use the information we gather to implement change and improve driving technique, and having the two Bell ADTs is really helping us improve efficiency and operations across the fleet.'
