Nottingham-based Wastecycle has purchasd an NTM MAS 'Food Monster' for commercial food waste collection.

Wastecycle processes more than 450,000 tonnes of waste and material through their recycling facilities each year, more than 90% of which is recycled and recovered.

The company's new NTM MAS collection vehicle is capable of collecting up to seven tonnes of commercial food waste per trip. It will operate throughout Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and parts of Derbyshire.

Paul Clements, commercial director for Wastecycle, said: 'The MAS is as efficient and safe as they come. The array of features sets a standard for the industry, so we really couldn't be more excited about having it on the road.'
