The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) has accredited its 450th Practitioner ' Shaun Bromby, of Southampton-based Lambert Brothers Haulage.
He said: 'I am delighted to achieve FORS Practitioner status. The workshops have given me a better understanding of FORS and its objectives and will help ensure Lambert Brothers Haulage make the most out of their accreditation.'
All operators accredited by FORS have the opportunity to become a FORS Practitioner. Operators must complete each of the nine FORS modules on topics including: road transport policy, work-related road safety, safe and efficient fleet management and monitoring road fleet performance.
There are now more than 3,800 FORS operators nationwide.
