A new compliancy-checking system is being launched for members of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).

The organisation is teaming up with Fleetcheck to offer a range of services, enabling members to ensure they are operating a compliant and legal fleet of vehicles.

With fleet management becoming more important given the new guidelines introduced by the Sentencing Council in February 2016, which will have particular relevance to any company running a fleet of vehicles and managing drivers, IAAF is keen to ensure its members have the appropriate measures in place.

Fleetcheck's software covers fleet, vehicle, driver and risk management. Members will be able to use packages for specific fleet sizes, combinations of cars, LCVs and HGVs, integration options such as telematics, fuelcards, leasing and accident data, telematics solutions and fuel management tools.

Fleetcheck will provide IAAF members with a free set-up which would normally cost £20 per vehicle.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: 'The benefits of using Fleetcheck's management system are evident and we strongly encourage all relevant members to take advantage of this exclusive offer.

'We are confident that the company can help prevent any operational, financial or legal compliance issues that our fleet manager members may be experiencing, resulting in significant financial savings'
