Chevin reaches one million vehicle and asset milestone

Published:  31 October, 2016

More than 1,000,000 vehicles and assets are now being managed by Chevin Fleet Solutions’ software, says the company.

The milestone has been reached after an increase of around 200,000 vehicles and assets using the fleet management specialist’s software over the past two years, the most rapid period of expansion in Chevin’s 26-year history.

Managing director Ashley Sowerby said: ‘Over the past two years, Chevin has signed a number of major new contracts in the UK, the US, Europe and Australasia that have helped to power its growth.

‘Our enterprise-level fleet management software, FleetWave, is now supplied to fleets in 180 countries around the world.

‘During 2015 and 2016 in particular we have focused sharply on meeting the ongoing needs of our diverse client base. We have taken on new staff to concentrate on ensuring strong customer support and our research shows that this experience has been highly positive for our clients, with 93% saying that they would recommend us to other fleets.

‘The fact that there are now more than a million vehicles and assets being managed by FleetWave is indicative of the efforts of the Chevin team right across the globe.

‘It is on the back of this kind of hard work that our current success has been built and I would like to thank everyone involved in reaching this great milestone.

‘Looking to the future, we continue to focus on reinvestment into our products, people and processes. With this in mind, we look forward to reaching new heights in the coming months and years, and further continuing this positive trend as a leading global provider of asset management solutions.’
