Neil Park to head Volvo Truck and Bus centre

Neil Park has been appointed as regional managing director for Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland.

Park originally joined the company in 1993 as a technician and progressed to become retail development manager for Volvo Truck and Bus Scotland in 2002.

In 2009 he joined the senior management team and has been involved in developing and implementing the company vision and strategy.

He has gained valuable experience of the challenges faced by transport operators through many years working on the front line of customer support. As well as serving customers as a qualified, accredited HGV Technician, Neil has worked as service reception engineer, workshop controller and service manager at the company’s dealerpoints in Edinburgh, Barrhead and Cardonald.

He replaces Martin Merrick who was appointed to the global position of senior vice president (retail development) with Volvo Trucks, Gothenburg in June.
