Former CIWM chief executive Steve Lee has joined Ascential Events as an industry advisor for the RWM Show.

Mr Lee will be working alongside the dedicated RWM team including chairman Barry Dennis, event director Nicola Meadows, head of content Sindy Cain, brand manager Babak Daemi and brand director for environment, broadcast and CWIEME Humaira Pilkinton.

Nicola Meadows said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Steve to the RWM Show as an industry advisor. Steve will be working with the key members of our committed team on moving the event forwards in strategic fields including recycling technology, industry collaboration, the future of policy and where RWM can best position itself to support growth in the industry.

Mr Lee said: ‘I am thrilled to be joining the RWM team at this exciting time in the event’s development and I look forward to exploring the future and expanding the audience for this unique exhibition. RWM has some wonderfully loyal exhibitors and visitors, it is a fantastic base to build on, and there are some real opportunities to expand as well.

‘We want to make sure that the event reflects what is happening in the industry, promoting thought leadership and debate in the constantly developing sectors of resource management, energy and water.’
